The Berlin Museum Island is the largest museum ensemble in the world and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. With the Pergamon Museum, the New Museum/Egyptian Museum, the Old Museum, the Old National Gallery and the Bode Museum, there are five world-class museums here.
